QR Code Has Subverted Our Daily Life

Since QR code was first designed for the automotive industry in Japan, different types of QR code have appeared in our daily life. An elementary QR code consists of black squares arranged in a square grid on a white background, which can be read by an imaging device such as a camera, and processed using reed–solomon error correction until the image can be appropriately interpreted. The required data is then extracted from patterns that are present in both horizontal and vertical components of the image. Besides the various appearance designs, QR codes are used in different ways and for different purposes. QR codes storing addresses and URLs may appear in magazines, on signs, on buses, on business cards, or on almost any object about which users might want information. Users with a camera phone equipped with the correct reader application can scan the image of the QR code to display text, contact information, connect to a wireless network, or open a web page in the telephone's browser. QR code really brings much convenience to our life and show the development of modern technology.

CWMALLS also launches QR codes for its websites and products recently. Each homepage of cwmalls.com (www.cwmalls.com, m.cwmalls.com, jackets.cwmalls.com, shoes.cwmalls.com, bags.cwmalls.com) and each product in the category of CUSTOM MADE of each site have its own QR code. When you see a QR code whose center is an orange or green “CW” logo online or offline, you can scan it using your mobile phone and it will directly go to the homepage or product details page. Although it may be risky to scan QR code randomly, especially those which need to gain your personal information, CWMALLS QR code is surely secure. It’s designed just for customers’ convenience and won’t gain any information from the person who scans it.
